圣诞贺卡，爱心传递

On December 18th, 2022, we the Dragon Eagle TV Youth Team delivered handmade Christmas cards to Pomeroy Living Orion senior living home. The youth team spent weeks creating more than one hundred individualized Christmas cards and decorating them. Every card has a different beautiful handwritten design in Christmas style. Each of them also has a heartwarming message to invite the seniors to create a personal relationship with the team member who wrote the card. In order to protect the health wellbeing of the seniors, the youth team members and parents spent time going through vaccine checks and TB tests to be eligible to visit in person. With all the hard work, the youth team is looking forward to hearing back from the seniors!

2022年12月18日，龙鹰卫视青少年团将手工制作的圣诞贺卡送到了Pomeroy Living Orion老人院。青年团花了数周时间制作并装饰了一百多张个人定制圣诞贺卡。每张卡片都有亲手绘制的不同的圣诞风格精美设计。每个人还有一条温馨的信息，邀请老人院的长者与写卡片的团队成员建立长期的个人扶助关系。为了保障老人们的健康，青年团成员和家长们都特意花时间通过了疫苗检查和结核病检测，以便将来有资格亲自上门探望。付出了这些努力以后，青年团成员期待老人们的回音！

Christmas Music Performance and Cookie Decoration at Pomeroy Senior Living

龙鹰卫视青少年团队在养老中心和老人们欢庆圣诞和新年佳节

On December 18, 2022, the Dragon Eagle TV (DETV) Youth Team celebrated Holidays with seniors at Pomeroy Lake Orion Senior Living. The event started with a musical performance for the Assisted Living area seniors and a cookie decorating activity for the Memory Care area seniors. The music performers and cookie decorators then switched areas and happily did a second round of activities. The concert featured piano performances, saxophone, and even cello! The performers played Christmas music such as Jingle Bells and also classical music pieces by Beethoven, Bach, Schubert and Chopin. The performers finally highlighted their show with a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year carol. The cookie decorators created some really unique and good-looking cookies, with shapes inspired from Holiday items, such as bells and Christmas trees. Both groups of seniors were very friendly and enjoyed both activities a lot! The seniors clapped enthusiastically for the performers! These activities clearly improved the seniors’ spirit. We hope that they have a great Holiday!

2022年12月18日，龙鹰卫视青少年团队在Pomeroy养老中心和老人们欢庆圣诞和新年佳节。青少年团分成两队，一队先为协助生活区的老人们表演了音乐会，另一队先和记忆护理区的老人们一起装饰烤好的饼干。之后两队互换区域再进行下一轮音乐表演和饼干装饰。音乐会表演的乐器有钢琴，萨克斯管，甚至还有大提琴！音乐表演者们演奏了圣诞音乐，例如铃儿响叮当，他们也演奏了贝多芬，巴赫，舒伯特，肖邦的乐曲。最后他们合唱了庆祝圣诞和新年快乐的歌曲。饼干装饰队伍的成员们带去了自己精心烤制的饼干。饼干的形状是漂亮的铃铛和圣诞树。两个区域的老人们都非常友好，并且非常喜欢这两项活动！他们为青少年团热烈鼓掌！这些活动明显地令老人们感到精神愉悦。我们希望他们有一个美好的圣诞节和新年！

Dragon Eagle TV’s Youth Team volunteered on behalf of The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign in Troy Michigan

龙鹰卫视青少年团志愿者们参加了救世军在密歇根州的红水壶筹款活动

On December 10th, 17th and 19th, 19 members of Dragon Eagle TV’s Youth Team ventured out to volunteer on behalf of The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign at HollyWood Markets in Troy Michigan from 10am to 8pm. For these three days, they volunteered 27 times and raised a total of $2,795.07 for the Salvation Army programs and services. That’s an average of $93.1 per hour! There, the youth team members rang the bell and greeted people to encourage them to donate, filling the environment with Christmas cheer. The youth team wore festive gear, including Santa hats, Christmas bells, and even ugly sweaters! Some members even brought their musical talents, playing beautiful Christmas carols for shoppers and donors. Ultimately, their enthusiastic mindset and holiday spirits have helped to encourage the local Troy community to donate and contribute to the betterment of individuals and families in crisis.

12月10日、17日和19 日，龙鹰卫视青少年团共19名成员组织参加了救世军在密西根州特洛伊的好莱坞市场的红水壶筹款活动。在这三天里，19名青少年团志愿者27次服务，总共为救世军筹款2795.07美元，平均每个小时93.1 美元！在那里，青少年团的志愿者们摇着铃，热情的招呼过往的人捐款，整个环境洋溢着圣诞的气氛。青少年团的志愿者们穿着圣诞的装备，有的志愿者戴着圣诞帽、有的摇着圣诞铃铛，有的志愿者甚至穿上了‘难看’的圣诞毛衣！还有一些志愿者们发挥他们的音乐才能，演奏动听的圣诞颂歌。他们热情的心态和节日精神将鼓励特洛伊社区的公益捐赠并为改善贫困人口和家庭的窘境做出贡献。

Helping hands to Coat on Cold

天寒有衣 - 相助有我

On December 3rd, we, the Dragon Eagle TV Youth group went to the First Evangelical Community Church in Troy to collect the donated winter gear. We also had the honor to interview Pastor Gao from, we talked about his journey to become Pastor and the mission of the First Evangelical Community Church to help less fortunate community. Today on December 5th, 2022, the team helped sort generously donated coats and other winter gear into sizes and genders for distribution. These coats will be distributed to the Pontiac community to families who are in need of jackets and coats for winter this year. These coats and jackets will cause a tremendous impact to the Pontiac community and will help many families have warm clothes for the winter.

12月3日，我们龙鹰卫视青少年团前往蒙爱基督教会领取捐赠的冬装, 也有幸采访到高牧师，我们谈到了他成为牧师的历程，以及蒙爱基督教会帮助服侍社区的决心。2022 年 12 月 5 日，龙鹰卫视青少年团的队员帮助奥克兰警局社区互助中心将附近居民慷慨捐赠的大衣和其他冬季装备按尺寸和性别分类打包。这些外套将分发给 Pontiac 社区，分发给今年冬天需要夹克和外套的家庭。这些外套和夹克将对 Pontiac 社区产生巨大影响，并将帮助许多家庭在冬天穿上暖和的衣服。
