As part of the continuing celebration of the Chinese New Year, Detroit Pistons Dennis Smith Jr is participating in a private meet and great with the local Chinese community. The meet and greet will happen on Saturday, March 20^th from 11am to 12pm. The event will entail a special segment in the beginning where Dennis Smith Jr. will talk about his career, basketball stories, and much more. The second half of the event Dennis will be answering questions from the community that were submitted during registration.

Dennis Smith Jr. was born on Nov 25^th, 1997 in Fayetteville, South Carolina. He played College basketball at North Carolina State University for one year and then entered the 2017 NBA Draft. He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1^st round with the 9^th overall pick. He played with the Mavericks from 2017-2019 then played with the New York Knicks from 2019 until he was traded to the Detroit Pistons on February 8^th, 2021.
